The role provides a competitive salary (£32,000–£35,000 per year) plus £300 monthly tips, with free meals on duty and parking. This established inn emphasises growth and staff development in a privately owned, award‑winning setting.

Qualifications

• Formal cookery experience in a high‑quality kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Cook and prepare high standards across all services.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and kitchen cleanliness.
• Contribute ideas to menus and seasonal changes.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
