Job summary

Marston's PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen and act as second in command to the Head Chef. You will step up when the Head Chef is not on shift and help run the line during service.

You will support the Head Chef in all kitchen operations, lead and develop the kitchen team, and maintain the highest standards of food and service. A passion for quality and guest satisfaction is essential to thrive here.

Qualifications

• Branded kitchen experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and develop the kitchen team and skills.
• Maintain the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in our kitchen as second in command to the Head Chef.
• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and planning.
• Run the line during service to ensure smooth service flow.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team, promoting skills and teamwork.
• Uphold and drive excellent food quality and guest service standards.
