The Blue Ball Inn is set amongst rolling hills on the edge of Exmoor. Parts of the building date back to the 13th century, with low beamed ceilings and stone fireplaces, oozing characterful, old-world charm.

You’ll work in a traditional coaching inn, nestled within an all-year-round South West destination. It’s a perfect base for rural and coastal walks, with some of Britain’s finest landscapes on the doorstep.

Are you a versatile Sous Chef with experience of working in a fast-paced environment? Join our talented kitchen team and work alongside passionate people, using locally sourced produce to provide high-quality food that delights our guests. As Sous Chef, you will support your Head Chef in leading the kitchen team, ensuring procedures are followed, and dish specifications are precisely met. You will also utilize the flexibility enabled by our menu writing processes to adapt our offerings to meet the needs of our business and guests.
