Job summary

The Wharf in Castlefield is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to lead the kitchen alongside the Head Chef. You’ll drive food quality, presentation and service, and manage day-to-day kitchen operations.

You’ll bring catering and hospitality experience at junior sous or sous level, with a positive attitude, and help develop exciting new dishes while mentoring the team. This is a hands-on role in a busy pub environment with a strong focus on guest experience and local sourcing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality in a restaurant, gastro pub or hotel at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level is essential, as well as a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Running the kitchen and driving the food culture alongside the Head Chef.
• Leading kitchen operations, team development and ensuring high standards of presentation and service.

Your Bread and Butter

• Basic up to £37,500 per year, plus tronc (that’s your card tips that are paid into your bank).

About You...
