Job summary

The Wharf in Castlefield is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join the kitchen team, reporting to the Head Chef. You will help lead kitchen operations, maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service, and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences in a busy gastro pub environment.

Basic salary up to £37,500 with tron, plus a potential bonus up to £2,000, paid overtime, free parking, and extensive employee perks including meals on shift, discounts, pension, life

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality in a restaurant, gastro pub or hotel at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level is essential.
• Proven ability to run kitchen operations and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

• Lead kitchen operations in collaboration with the Head Chef.
• Drive the food culture and ensure excellent service and customer satisfaction.
• Manage and motivate the kitchen team to deliver consistent results.

About you...

Previous experience in catering and hospitality in a restaurant, gastro pub or hotel at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level is essential, as well as a positive attitude. Working alongside the Head Chef you’ll be responsible for running the kitchen, driving the food culture and keeping your team and our customers engaged with exciting new dishes.
