Job summary

The Horse & Groom in Hare Hatch is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and help lead daily operations alongside the Head Chef.

You will oversee food quality, presentation and service, mentor junior staff, and contribute to creating exceptional dining experiences for guests at our pub restaurant.

We offer a basic salary up to £34,000 plus tronc, paid overtime, a management bonus scheme up to £1,500, great cash tips, and a full benefits package including pension and life cover.

• Previous experience in catering and hospitality at junior sous/sous or kitchen manager level.
• Positive attitude.

About you...

Previous experience in catering and hospitality in a restaurant, gastro pub or hotel at junior sous, sous or kitchen manager level is essential, as well as a positive attitude. Working alongside the Head Chef you’ll be responsible for running the kitchen, driving the food culture and keeping your team and our customers engaged with exciting new dishes.
