Qualifications

Perfect Recruitment are working with an established food-led venue in the Bolton area to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, organised and passionate chef with a strong background in high-volume, fresh food kitchens. Working as part of a larger kitchen brigade, you'll play an important role in maintaining food quality, supporting the Head Chef and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality fresh food to consistently high standards.
• Helping to lead, motivate and support the wider kitchen team.

• Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, health and safety.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a strong senior kitchen role.
• A solid background in high-volume, fresh food kitchens.
• Organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure.
• A strong team player who can support and lead colleagues effectively.
• Consistent employment history, demonstrating commitment and longevity in previous roles.
• A positive attitude and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Reliable transport or the ability to drive is preferred due to the location.
