Job summary

Brassmills at Vintage Inns, part of Mitchells & Butlers PLC, is seeking a Sous Chef with a passion for great food, training people and making guests smile. You’ll run a section, lead the team, and step in for the Head Chef when required to keep the kitchen cohesive and focused on delivering consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen section and guiding a team.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to deliver quality food.
• Experience working with branded menus and targets.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Master the art of working with a branded menu.
• Confidently manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that the team complies with health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef at the Brassmills , you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
