Job summary

Bosham Inn is seeking a professional Sous Chef who is passionate about great food, training teams, and delivering memorable guest experiences. You will lead a kitchen section and step in for the Head Chef in their absence, ensuring the team works in harmony to serve high-quality dishes.

You’ll be part of the Vintage Inns collection, embracing a cosy, traditional pub atmosphere. We offer flexible shifts, development opportunities, and a range of staff perks as part of Mitchells & Butlers.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or in a leadership role in a kitchen.
• Ability to train and inspire kitchen staff.
• Experience with food ordering and stock control.
• Ability to work with a branded menu and maintain hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

As a Sous Chef at the Bosham Inn, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
