Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC in Hove is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, train the team and support the Head Chef with ordering, prep and stock control. You will ensure the branded menu is followed and health and hygiene rules are observed.

You’ll join a UK pub family known for Sizzling Pub & Grill, with strong community ties and clear progression paths. This a full‑time, permanent role based in Hove with competitive pay and staff benefits.

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
