Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Sous Chef for the Ferry, with a passion for great food and people development. You will run a section, lead the team in the absence of the Head Chef, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences across Premium Country Pubs.

You’ll be supported with progression opportunities, training, and staff benefits as part of Mitchells & Butlers. A strong leadership vibe and commitment to quality will help you thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a kitchen team.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.
• Able to train and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
