Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc is seeking a Sous Chef for The Ferry, a Premium Country Pub. You will run a section, lead the kitchen team and step in for the Head Chef when needed, ensuring consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen role.
• Ability to lead and train kitchen staff.
• Experience with branded menus and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
