Job summary

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to create fresh nutritious meals for residents, using the best fresh ingredients available. You will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality.

The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.

Qualifications

• Highly skilled sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals using quality ingredients.
• Support Head Chef, lead by example, and showcase hospitality with flair.
• Induction will cover healthcare kitchen skills and practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious meals for residents with fresh ingredients.
• Assist Head Chef and mentor junior kitchen staff.
• Contribute to Chef academy initiatives and progressive training.

• 40 hours per week, working alternate weekends & no evenings!
