Job summary

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to craft fresh, nutritious meals for residents at Solent Grange Care Home, Isle of Wight. You will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and bring creative flair to high-level hospitality in a healthcare setting.

The role offers straight shifts, no evenings, a supported induction, and opportunities to mentor teams through our Chef academy.

Qualifications

• Experience with leading a kitchen (essential).
• Experience with Modified Diets (essential).

About the role

• Sous Chef
• week one - Thursday plus one other day in the week and working the weekend
• week two - monday, wednesday, thursday and a friday
• Experience with leading a kitchen (essential)
• Experience with Modified Diets (essential)
• £14.10 per hour

We are looking for a highly skilled Sous chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents by way of using the best fresh ingredients available. We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
