Job summary

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to create fresh nutritious meals for our residents using the best fresh ingredients available. You will support the Head Chef, lead by example, and showcase high level hospitality.

The role features straight shifts with no evenings, 40 hours per week, and an induction to showcase healthcare-specific skills along with an opportunity to mentor our teams through the Chef academy.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef delivering nutritious meals for residents.
• Ability to lead by example and mentor teams.

About the role

• Sous Chef
• 4 x 10 hour shifts - 8am - 6pm
• 40 hours per week, working alternate weekends & no evenings!
• £13.95 - £14.45 depending on experience per hour

We are looking for a passionate Chef that will support the Head Chef, lead by example and have the creative flair to showcase high level hospitality. The role consists of straight shifts & no evenings! There will be a fully supported induction showcasing the technical skills required in healthcare and an opportunity to mentor our teams to progress in our own Chef academy.
