Job summary

Barley Mow, part of the Sizzling Pub & Grill family, is seeking a Sous Chef who thrives on leading a busy kitchen and delivering exceptional dishes. You will run a section, coach your team, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence to keep service seamless.

You’ll manage food ordering, preparation and stock, while upholding branded menu standards and strict health and hygiene practices. Competitive salary and development opportunities await.

• Ability to lead a kitchen team and deliver high standards.
• Experience in food prep, ordering and stock control is essential.
• Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations and branded menus.

Responsibilities

• Smash targets with your team and drive performance.
• Train and inspire the kitchen team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Master working with branded menus to ensure consistency.
• Confidently manage Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
