Job summary

Ember Inns, part of Mitchells & Butlers, is seeking a proactive Sous Chef to lead a kitchen team in a vibrant pub environment. You will work within a branded menu, manage stock and food preparation, and help drive high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef in a busy kitchen.
• Proven ability to lead a team and motivate staff.
• Knowledge of stock control, menu planning and ordering processes.

Responsibilities

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
