Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers plc, owner of Vintage Inns and the March Hare, is seeking a Sous Chef who loves great food and leading a kitchen team in a welcoming pub setting. You will run a section, train staff, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence to keep the kitchen performing at its best.

You’ll manage ordering, prep and stock, work with a branded menu, and guide Chefs and the wider kitchen team to health and hygiene standards. Join a supportive team with strong development and great staff benefits.

• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

Job description

As a Sous Chef atthe March Hare, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
