Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers’ Broughton Inn is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead a kitchen section, mentor a team and step in for the Head Chef when needed. You’ll work within the Vintage Inns brand, delivering great food in a welcoming pub environment.

You will be responsible for training staff, ordering and stock control, and ensuring the branded menu is executed to a high standard, while complying with health and hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen role.
• Ability to train and lead a team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Competence in food ordering, stock control and/menu execution.

Responsibilities

• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support Head Chef with food ordering, preparation and stock control.
• Oversee branded menu execution and manage the kitchen team.
• Ensure health and hygiene regulations are followed by the team.
• Drive team targets and monitor performance.
