Job summary

Greyhound at Vintage Inns seeks a hands-on Sous Chef with a passion for great food and team development. You’ll run a section, coach chefs, and lead the team in the Head Chef’s absence, ensuring consistent quality across a branded menu.

Qualifications

• Experience as sous chef or senior kitchen role.
• Proven ability to train and develop a kitchen team.
• Strong knowledge of health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section and ensure the team works as one.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food you’re proud of.
• Support Head Chef with ordering, prep, and stock control.
• Manage a branded menu with consistency and quality.
• Oversee kitchen team performance and health/safety compliance.

As a Sous Chef at the Greyhound, you will have a passion for serving great food, training great people and leaving a smile on our guests faces. You’ll run a section, ensuring your team are working together as one and you will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef. Does this sound like you?
