Highland Hotel & Restaurant in Glencoe is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high standards using the finest local Scottish produce in a stunning Highland setting.

The role involves day-to-day kitchen management, leading the brigade, and stepping in for the Head Chef during busy periods. Live-in accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef in a busy hotel/restaurant is preferred.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Commitment to using local Scottish produce.

Sous Chef - Highland Hotel & Restaurant - Glencoe

• £38,000 per annum plus performance bonus
• Share of tips circa £4,000 per annum

We are looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a celebrated Highland hotel and restaurant in the heart of Glencoe. As Sous Chef you will work closely alongside the Head Chef, helping to deliver consistently high standards of food using the finest local Scottish produce in one of the country’s most spectacular setting.

The Sous Chef will play a key role in the day to day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef across all sections and taking the lead in their absence. As Sous Chef you will be organised, hardworking and passionate about quality Scottish cooking. The ideal Sous Chef will be confident managing a brigade, maintaining standards and driving the team forward during busy service periods. The Sous Chef will also embrace the unique opportunity to live and work in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
