Sea Global is recruiting a Sourcing Procurement Manager for UK operations. Two roles exist, each focusing on Maintenance or Chemical categories. Lead end-to-end sourcing, design category strategies, and manage major contracts worth hundreds of millions. Strong supplier negotiation and governance experience preferred.

Qualifications

Sea Global is proud to be partnering with one of the UK's leading Utilities sector organisations to recruit a Sourcing Procurement Manager into their high performing team.

As the business continues to invest in major infrastructure programmes and critical operational projects, this role offers an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team and play a key part in delivering strategic procurement initiatives.

There are two roles available, one looking after the Maintenance category and one looking after the Chemical category. Experience in either of these is highly beneficial.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across a designated category portfolio.
• Design and implement category and sourcing strategies that deliver value, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
• Manage the procurement of major contracts, including programmes valued in the hundreds of millions of pounds.
• Drive commercial performance through effective supplier engagement, negotiation, demand management, and market analysis.
• Ensure all procurement activity is conducted in line with organisational governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Experience & Requirements

• Experience within strategic sourcing and category management, managing complex procurement categories.
• Demonstrable success leading complex, high-value sourcing and tendering programmes.
• Well-developed commercial acumen, including contract management, supplier negotiations, and value delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge and experience of the Procurement Act 2023 is beneficial but not essential.
