Job summary

Insight Select is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes. You will manage the sourcing process for large business needs, work closely with suppliers and run tender processes.

This role offers hybrid working, exposure to cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Engineering. A strong commercial acumen and decision-making ability are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in sourcing or procurement positions
• Experience managing tender processes
• Experience managing high value tenders over £300,000 in value
• Commercial acumen with the ability to balance value, risk and business requirements
• Confident making decisions and a team player

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimise supplier performance, reduce costs, and ensure continuity of supply.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, quality, and service agreements.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring performance through key metrics and regular business reviews.
• Run fair and clear tender processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to support informed sourcing decisions and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
• Lead cost-saving and process improvement projects through spend analysis and competitive bidding processes.
