Job summary

The Sonographer role at Cora Health offers an opportunity to join a skilled imaging team across multiple Northeast London locations, including Ilford and Hainault. You will perform MSK, abdominal, gynecological, and vascular ultrasound with emphasis on high-quality diagnostic reporting and patient care.

We seek an experienced sonographer with DMU/ PgDip/MSc in Medical Ultrasound, MSK ultrasound expertise, and willingness to travel across the northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hon in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent/degree/diploma.
• Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (DMU) or Postgraduate Diploma (Pg Dip) or Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Ultrasound.
• MSK Ultrasound module or equivalent training.
• Experience in all aspects of MSK Ultrasound scanning and a comprehensive range of vascular ultrasound studies, in addition to General, Gynae, Renal tract, Testes and Thyroid Ultrasound.
• Must be able flexible to travel across the Northeast of London.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Advanced Practitioner, experienced in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
• In addition, perform Abdominal, Gynaecological, Urinary Tract, Thyroid, Testes and Vascular Ultrasound including Doppler.
• Maintain and promote the highest professional, technical and ethical standards in Ultrasound, through clinical governance.
• Prioritise and report own workload and manage the Ultrasound workflow for data integrity.
• Continually improve Ultrasound practice through professional and personal development.

Salary: up to £55,000 (depending on experience)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our dynamic imaging team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services, supporting patient care across a range of specialties.

What you’ll be doing

You will act as an Advanced Practitioner, experienced in all aspects of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. To continually improve Ultrasound practice through professional and personal development.
