Job summary

Nuffield Health Oxford Hospital is seeking a Sonographer to join the Radiology team on a bank/ad hoc basis. The role involves delivering high-quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload, with a focus on gynecology services.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet HCPC registration requirements.
• Post‑Graduate diploma/DMU in Medical Ultrasound.
• Post registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting, including gynae pelvis scanning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality ultrasound imaging and reporting for a varied caseload within Radiology and on the ward as required.

Salary: Up to £50 per hour (dependent on experience)

As a Sonographer at Nuffield Health Oxford Hospital you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature with excellent teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• You’ll deliver high quality ultrasound imaging & reporting for a varied caseload within the department, and on the ward as required.
• The role will be largely based around Gynaecology service and patients

Qualifications

• You’ll have a BSc degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and Post‑Graduate diploma / DMU in Medical Ultrasound
• Post registration experience of general ultrasound imaging and reporting to include Gynae pelvis scanning.
• Experience of managing an ultrasound quality assurance programme will also be an advantage.
• You must have excellent communication and IT skills, along with a good understanding of how to encourage and promote effective team work
