Job summary

Operose Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to provide a high-quality ultrasound service within a GP practice setting at Park Surgery. You will operate ultrasound equipment, position patients, and produce reports for clinicians.

The role requires experience scanning abdominal, renal, gynae (including transvaginal) and testes, plus clear communication with patients and healthcare teams. We offer flexible bank hours and a supportive team in a scalable primary care network.

  • Good communication skills with the ability to counsel patients and liaise with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high quality timely ultrasound service for our scan department.
  • Manipulate and positioning of expensive ultrasound equipment in order to produce high quality images.
  • Producing report based on the ultrasound image
  • Communicate the results to the patient and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
