SUSHISAMBA Uk is seeking a passionate Sommelier to oversee and elevate our beverage programme across SUSHISAMBA and Duck & Waffle restaurants in the United Kingdom. The role invites experienced individuals who can pair wines, sake, and beverages with our Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian inspired cuisine.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for wine, interest in sake, and a drive to continue learning within a world‑class hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a sommelier or in a wine‑focused hospitality role.
• WSET Level 2 preferred or equivalent wine certification and experience.
• A passion for wine and beverage service with an interest in sake and growth mindset.
• Experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced restaurant environment.
• Guest‑focused approach and exceptional hospitality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the business.
• Ability to maintain high standards and attention to detail.
