Green Machine is seeking an Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across Somerset. You will lead cleaning teams, build strong client relationships and ensure consistently high service standards.

You will be at the heart of operations, working with the Operations Director to ensure sites run smoothly, teams feel supported, and clients receive excellent service. This field-based role offers flexibility and growth opportunities within a family-owned business.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year in commercial cleaning, facilities management, or soft services.
• Experience supervising teams across multiple locations.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to build positive relationships with employees and clients.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Flexible, proactive and hands-on management approach.
• Experience managing multiple contracts and delivering high service standards.

Aufgaben

• Manage portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across Somerset.
• Conduct regular site visits, quality audits to maintain standards.
• Lead and motivate cleaning teams across client locations.
• Deliver inductions, training and ongoing operational support.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and meet expectations.
• Respond promptly to client queries and challenges.
• Monitor site performance and identify service improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations Director and management for growth.
• Ensure health and safety and service standards across sites.
