Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer for Splunk coverage in Scotland and Ireland. The role combines technical leadership with sales collaboration, enabling customers to validate and adopt Splunk solutions through workshops, proofs of concept, and in-depth demonstrations.

The successful candidate will work with Ireland/Scotland teams, travel as needed, and engage with both public and private sector clients to drive technical wins and value realization.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and own technical relationships within the territories you support.
• Own achieving the ‘technical win’; move opportunities from qualification to validation.
• Develop technical activity plans to validate Splunk products for customers.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager in meetings to uncover needs.
• Support clients through buying process with presentations and workshops.
• Scope and run Proof of Concepts with clients to agreed criteria.
• Keep Splunk knowledge up to date and document in Salesforce.
