THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Solutions Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Job summary

The Solutions Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) will strategically pursue new ALM enterprise customers within key industries in both local and international UK-based customers. The role focuses on new customer acquisition and building deep customer relationships, delivering tailored ALM solutions to meet complex customer needs.

Your role in our mission:

  • Lead the UK ALM Sales Strategy within a defined book of enterprise accounts, developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to prospect and cultivate new ALM business opportunities to achieve individual sales quotas within Iron Mountain's UK client base.
  • Create and deliver a regional sales plan aligned with target achievement, including sales initiatives and leadership buy-in.
  • Leverage industry expertise, networks, and business development skills to uncover new opportunities, establishing strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Lead complex solution development to create customized ALM strategies aligned with customer goals.
  • Drive the sales process from opportunity identification to close and ongoing contract activation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, product, and operations to deliver value to clients.
  • Negotiate client service contracts and SLAs to maximize value for IRM and clients.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Experience selling IT solutions to senior executives with a successful track record.
  • Strong background in Hardware Asset Management, business process enablement, and ITAD sales.
  • Deep industry experience in ALM and relationships with ITAD buyers in enterprise verticals.
  • Experience selling complex IT services into large multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Proven success managing a business book, breaking into new accounts, and closing high-value opportunities.
