THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Solutions Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Job summary

The Solutions Development Executive - Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) will strategically pursue new ALM enterprise customers within various industries in the UK, both local and international. The role focuses on acquiring new customers and building strong relationships, delivering tailored ALM solutions to meet complex needs.

Your role in our mission:

  • Lead the UK ALM Sales Strategy within a defined account base, developing and executing a sales plan to prospect and cultivate new ALM business, achieving sales quotas within Iron Mountain's UK accounts.
  • Create and implement a regional sales plan aligned with target goals, including sales initiatives and gaining leadership support.
  • Utilize industry expertise, networks, and business development skills to identify new opportunities, establishing consultative relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Lead complex solution development to create customized ALM strategies aligned with customer goals.
  • Manage the entire sales process from opportunity identification to closing and contract activation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and maximize opportunities.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver value to clients.
  • Negotiate client contracts and SLAs to maximize value for IRM and clients.

Valued skills and experience:

  • Proven success in selling IT solutions to senior executives.
  • Strong knowledge of Hardware Asset Management, business workflows, and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) sales.
  • Deep industry experience in ALM and existing relationships with ITAD buyers in key verticals.
  • Experience selling complex IT services into large, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Track record managing a business book, breaking into new accounts, and closing high-value opportunities.
