Job summary

Metronome is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to ensure successful customer implementations of our consumption-based billing platform. You will own the technical lifecycle from discovery to post-implementation handoffs, working at the intersection of sales, growth, product, and R&D.

You will guide clients on usage-based pricing and integrate Metronome with their CRM, ERP, billing and analytics ecosystems, helping customers realize value quickly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical or customer-facing SaaS roles such as sales engineering or solutions architecture.
• Deep knowledge of quote-to-cash processes and integrations with CRM/CPQ, Billing, Tax and Payments.
• Experience leading multi-phase tech transformations for large enterprises.
• Experience in fast-moving startups with high ownership.
• Ability to translate complex concepts to business and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Using proficient discovery and scoping to understand client challenges in billing, pricing, quote-to-cash and related areas.
• Supporting clients through the entire implementation lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, integration, testing, data migration and launch.
• Providing expert guidance on usage-based pricing and consumption models.
• Hands-on configuration of Metronome on behalf of clients.
• Designing integrations between Metronome APIs and client systems (CRM/CPQ, Payments, Tax, ERP, Billing, Analytics).
• Advocating for client needs with field and R&D; communicating feature requests.
• Partnering with project teams to provide progress visibility and risk mitigation.
• Building relationships with client stakeholders from operators to CFOs; meeting in person when possible.
• Designing client integrations and influencing pricing/packaging directions.
• Ensuring smooth handoff to post-implementation teams (Customer Success and Technical Support).
