Job summary

Metronome, a Stripe product, seeks a Solutions Engineer to manage the technical side of the customer lifecycle from discovery through demos, POC, and scoping. You will tailor demos for varied personas and drive deals with startups to enterprise SaaS, including post-sales handover.

Travel will be required to engage prospects; growth and learning are emphasized in a fast-moving environment. A strong technical background and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in technical and/or customer-facing SaaS roles.
• Academic background in a technical area with high EQ is preferred.
• Growth mindset and ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical side of the customer lifecycle from discovery calls through demos, POC, and scoping.
• Plan, build, and run customized demos for buyers with multiple personas.
• Travel to meet prospects in the field and in-person when possible.
• Land deals for startups to enterprise software customers.
• Represent Solutions Engineering in deal teams and ensure successful post-sales handover.
