Job summary

Intapp is seeking a Solution Engineer in London with hybrid working. You will implement and configure Intapp solutions across client environments, developing integrations using Boomi, Intapp Integrate, and SQL Server. You will lead workshops, train client users, and maintain high delivery quality.

The role requires strong SQL, API (REST/SOAP), XML/JSON, and data-mapping skills, plus the ability to manage multiple engagements and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical implementation, operations, or support within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries and data mapping.
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and JSON; familiar with integration patterns.

Solution Engineer

The Solution Engineer plays a critical role within Intapp's Services Delivery team, responsible for implementing Intapp solutions across client environments. Working at the intersection of technical depth and client engagement, this role ensures that solutions are configured, deployed, and supported to a high standard - translating complex business needs into reliable, scalable outcomes. If you enjoy solving integration challenges and making enterprise software work in the real world, this is the role for you. In this role, you will work across multiple concurrent client engagements, developing integrations using tools such as Boomi, Intapp Integrate, and Microsoft SQL Server, while conducting workshops, delivering training, and maintaining documentation that upholds implementation quality. You will collaborate with colleagues across delivery, product, and support to continuously improve how Intapp brings its solutions to market.

What you will do

• Configure and implement Intapp solutions across client environments, translating business requirements into logical workflows and technical configurations.
• Develop and manage integrations using Boomi, Intapp Integrate, and Microsoft SQL Server - including data mapping, validation, and issue resolution.
• Lead client-facing workshops and configuration walk-throughs, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analyse root causes of integration and system-level issues, including third‑party APIs, and collaborate with internal teams to improve delivery processes and reusable assets.
• Deliver administrative training and knowledge transfer to client users, while maintaining documentation and ensuring implementation quality standards are upheld throughout.

What you will need

• Experience in technical implementation, operations, or support within a SaaS or enterprise software environment, with a strong track record of delivering integrations end to end.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including writing, interpreting, and troubleshooting complex queries, joins, and data mapping across relational structures.
• Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and JSON, as well as system integration patterns and data mapping techniques.
• Familiarity with Boomi or a comparable integration platform, along with working knowledge of Regular Expressions (RegEx) for parsing and transforming data.
• Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving ability, and organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent workstreams without losing sight of quality or timelines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and run effective client‑facing sessions.
