Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are working exclusively with a leading specialist in Material Handling machinery design, manufacturing and installation. They seek an experienced SolidWorks Applications Engineer to design and bring to life large-scale manufacturing layouts and machinery solutions, supporting the sales team using 3D SolidWorks and 2D software.

The role involves creating 3D layouts, touring the sales process, animating designs with flybys, and producing flow diagrams.

Qualifications

• Strong in using SolidWorks for 3D applications creation.
• 2D software experience.
• Applications engineering experience.
• Material handling machinery or large-scale machinery experience.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D layouts of large-scale machinery.
• Animate designs to show materials flow and maintenance access.
• Produce low-res shells for standard machinery modules.
• Automate BOM creation from SolidWorks.
• Assist with tender bids and monthly reports.
