Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced SolidWorks Applications Engineer to design and bring to life large-scale manufacturing plant layouts and machinery engineering solutions. You will support sales with 3D models and 2D layouts, creating a library of standard product offerings and deploying animation visuals for customer demonstrations.

The role involves creating accurate 3D layouts, low-res shells, and flow diagrams, plus BOM automation and tender support.

Qualifications

• Strong in using SolidWorks for 3D applications creation.
• 2D software experience.
• Applications engineering experience.
• Material handling machinery experience or other large scale complex machinery.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D layouts of large scale machinery to be used in sales and project execution.
• Ensure designs and layouts are visually appealing for client presentations.
• Develop a library of 3D sales models for various machinery types.
• Create low-resolution shells of engineering modules for general arrangement drawings.
• Animate designs to show material flow, access, and maintenance tasks with flybys and 360° views.
