Job description

We are seeking a qualified lawyer with experience in childcare law to join our busy and supportive team focused on children safeguarding.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage a caseload of childcare cases under the Children Act 1989 and Adoption and Children Act 2002.
  2. Attend court proceedings related to applications for care and Supervision Orders, DOLs, Placement, and Adoption Orders.
  3. Work with Caseworker support for all allocated cases.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of practical legal experience, with a minimum of 2 years in public law/childcare law.
  • Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or chartered legal executive authorized to practice.
