Job summary

Resourcing Group is supporting a well-established law firm in Farnham by recruiting a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive. You will manage a varied caseload within the Wills & Inheritance team, handling matters from wills and LPAs to probate and estate administration.The role targets lawyers with 3–7 years PQE in Private Client, offering opportunities for development, increased responsibility and career progression in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Have 3-7 years' PQE within Private Client law.
• Have strong experience across a broad range of private client matters.
• Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, particularly around estates and tax planning.
• Have experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior fee earners.
• Possess excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Be commercially aware, with an interest in business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own varied caseload of private client matters, including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and estate administration, Tax planning, Trust administration and Court of Protection matters.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members; supervise, mentor and develop colleagues.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the department and build strong relationships with referrers and professional contacts.
• Support business development, networking and marketing initiatives; raise the profile of the department within the local and professional community.

The Role

You will manage your own varied caseload of private client matters, including:

• Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
