Job summary

Faith Recruitment Ltd is helping a Legal 500 Leading Firm in Farnham to recruit a Private Client Solicitor (1-3 PQE) for their Wills & Inheritance team. You will manage your own caseload with excellent support, focusing on wills, probate, and estate planning for high-net-worth clients.

The role is client-facing with real career progression in a growing firm. A warm, collaborative culture and a friendly Farnham office are highlighted in the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or equivalent with 1-3 years PQE in Private Client.
• Solid technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration.
• STEP qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential.
• Warm, empathetic approach and ability to explain complex matters clearly.
• Desire to join a supportive, collaborative team invested in your development.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload with supervision, advising on Private Client matters.
• Draft Wills, handle probate and estate administration tasks.
• Advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection, trusts, and inheritance planning.
• Build long-term relationships with local high-net-worth clients and families.

Our client, a Legal 500 Leading Firm with a fantastic reputation across Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire, is looking for a Private Client Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join their highly regarded Wills & Inheritance team in Farnham.

This isn't a back-office role churning through files. This is a client-facing, career-building opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners on quality, meaningful private client work.

What you'll be doing:

You will manage your own caseload with excellent support and supervision, advising on:

• Wills and complex Will drafting
• Probate and Estate Administration
• Lasting Powers of Attorney & Court of Protection
• Trusts, Inheritance Tax Planning and Estate Planning
• Building long-term relationships with local high-net-worth clients and families

This would suit you if:

• You are a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or equivalent with 1-3 years PQE in Private Client
• You have solid technical knowledge across Wills, Probate and Estate Administration
• You are STEP qualified or working towards it - desirable but not essential
• You have a warm, empathetic approach - you can explain complex matters in a clear, down-to-earth way
