Job summary

HCB Solicitors is seeking an experienced solicitor to join our property department. You will handle sale and purchase of commercial property, mortgage work, and related registrations.

The role covers landlord and tenant matters, lease renewals, licences to assign, and land registry applications. A background in management company matters and pension-related transactions is advantageous. Hybrid working after probation is offered.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years PQE within a fee-earning role.
• Experience in sale and purchase of commercial property and related matters is preferred.
• Ability to handle landlord and tenant transactions and registrations.

Responsibilities

• Handle sale and purchase of commercial property.
• Oversee sale of business assets and property at auction.
• Manage secured lending, mortgages and remortgages.
• Conduct landlord and tenant transactions including leases, renewals, licences and surrenders.
• Assist with land registry applications and adverse possession matters.
• Support pension scheme transactions and section 25 notices.
• Represent management companies as required.
