Service Care, Edinburgh-based, seeks a Solicitor to join our growing Court team on a permanent basis. You will manage a varied caseload across civil litigation and contentious private client work, handling court appearances and client meetings with professionalism and a client-centered approach.

The role is ideal for a solicitor up to 10 years PQE aiming to deepen expertise in civil and private client law within a supportive, growth-oriented firm. Driving license preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in civil litigation, preferably including contentious private client work.
Strong working knowledge of Scottish law.
Confidence in court proceedings and client-facing roles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for own caseload.
Driving license is preferred.

About the Role – The Solicitor we’re seeking

As a Solicitor at our client, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of civil litigation and contentious private client cases. The role involves liaising with clients, counsel, and other professionals, alongside court appearances and litigation processes. This is an ideal position for a solicitor up to 10 years PQE, eager to deepen their expertise in civil and private client law. In this role, you will:
