RES is seeking a Solar & Battery Storage Technician to perform operations and maintenance on utility-scale battery storage and ground-mounted solar PV plants. You will operate as a field-based electrician, ensuring safety, quality and performance within budget, and participate in an industry-leading team of renewable energy specialists.

You will work as a qualified electrician with HV/DC competencies, travel between sites, and support training to progress toward AP/SAP status.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with MW-scale battery storage and solar PV plant experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
• Experience with monitoring systems, SCADA and data monitoring.
• Experience with high voltage operations and central inverters is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Follow health and safety requirements and maintain safety standards across sites.
• Achieve Authorised Person status through training and experience.
• Conduct planned inspection and maintenance per legal and manufacturer requirements.
• Inspect, test and maintain plant and equipment including AC/DC systems.
• Troubleshoot faults in sensors, communication networks and field devices.
• Configure devices and perform firmware updates.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and verify their compliance and quality.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and report progress to O&M office.
• Travel between sites and be available for on-call and occasional away‑from‑home training.
