Job summary

RES is looking for a Technician(Solar) in Royal Tunbridge Wells to perform operations and maintenance duties on utility-scale ground-mounted Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The successful candidate will ensure safety and performance meet operational standards, providing crucial support to our renewable energy team.

This is a permanent role requiring a qualified electrician with experience in MW-scale power plants. Benefits include training opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong knowledge of BESS technology is essential.
• Experience in Solar PV installation and O&M for MW-scale.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations and maintenance on utility-scale ground-mounted BESS.
• Ensure safety and performance at operational budget.
• Undertake planned inspection and maintenance according to requirements.
