Job summary

BayWa r.e. Operation Services Limited is seeking a Site Technician to support preventive and corrective maintenance across a portfolio of utility-scale solar assets. The role is home-based with regular travel within the UK region and occasional travel to other parts of the UK.

You will ensure compliance, manage HSE issues, perform HV maintenance, and coordinate site activities with the O&M team. You will work with LV, HV, and external teams, participate in training, and take part in an on-call

Qualifications

• Can work under own initiative.
• Team player with collaborative approach.
• Full UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and monitor compliance with obligations for sites and Lead Technician's sites.
• Maintain HSE awareness and report issues to Regional Manager and HSE Manager; implement measures to improve HSE.
• Perform scheduled and corrective (including HV) maintenance on solar plants to ensure operation.
• Take primary on-site responsibility for plant performance, work quality and site appearance.
• Coordinate works with Regional Manager and O&M coordinator for effective site execution.
• Resolve work tickets with other Site Technicians and report to Asset Manager, O&M coordinator or Regional Manager.
• Liaise with internal/external LV, HV and Ground maintenance teams, subcontractors and other third parties as required.
• Undertake required training and development; participate in on-call rota for non-working hours.
• Maintain professional communications and report back information in a timely manner.
