Solar Site Supervisor – Ground Mount Expert

Job summary

JAM is seeking a Site Supervisor for an Exeter-based Ground Mount Solar project. You will oversee on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure HSQE/CDM compliance on a live solar site.

The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years in site supervision, SMSTS, and proven ability to read technical drawings, carry out inspections and produce progress reports daily and weekly. Excellent communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years' experience in site supervision or site management.
• Ground Mount Solar Farm experience essential
• Experience managing subcontractors and site activities
• Strong understanding of HSQE and CDM requirements
• SMSTS essential
• Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Experience carrying out site inspections, quality checks and snagging
• Confident delivering toolbox talks and site briefings
• Able to produce daily and weekly progress reports
• Strong communication skills with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and Project Managers
• Ability to identify and manage site risks, delays and issues
• IOSH / NEBOSH desirable

Responsibilities
