Job summary

JAM in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support the delivery of a large-scale ground-mounted Solar PV project. You will supervise subcontractors, manage day-to-day site activities and ensure safety, timeliness and quality.

The role requires 3–5 years' supervision experience, SMSTS and First Aid, a background in ground-mounted Solar PV, and strong leadership and communication skills. This is a 12-month minimum, on-site contract with a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ site supervision experience.
• Ground-mounted Solar PV experience – essential.
• Experience on large-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong subcontractor management experience.
• Good understanding of HSQE and UK construction regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS – essential.
• First Aid – essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and daily site activities
• Oversee ground-mounted Solar PV installation works
• Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are met
• Deliver toolbox talks and monitor site safety
• Monitor workmanship and installation quality
• Report progress, risks, delays and issues to the Project Manager
• Support snagging, quality checks and project completion
• Act as the main on-site contact for subcontractors and suppliers
