Job summary

JAM is recruiting an experienced Site Supervisor to support a large-scale ground-mounted Solar PV project in Milton Keynes. The role is a 12-month minimum contract and is full-time on site.

You will supervise subcontractors, manage day-to-day site activities and ensure delivery safely, on time and to required quality standards. Milton Keynes location, with a focus on HSQE compliance and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ site supervision experience.
• Ground-mounted Solar PV experience – essential.
• Experience on large-scale solar or renewable energy projects.
• Strong subcontractor management experience.
• Good understanding of HSQE and UK construction regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• SMSTS – essential.
• First Aid – essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and daily site activities.
• Oversee ground-mounted Solar PV installation works.
• Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are met.
• Deliver toolbox talks and monitor site safety.
• Monitor workmanship and installation quality; report progress, risks, delays and issues to the Project Manager.
• Support snagging, quality checks and project completion.
• Act as the main on-site contact for subcontractors and suppliers.
