Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for a large-scale ground-mounted Solar PV project. This 12-month minimum contract is on-site in Milton Keynes at a rate of £400 per day outside IR35.

You will supervise subcontractors, oversee daily site activities, ensure HSQE compliance and CDM requirements, and protect programme milestones. Strong leadership, ability to read technical drawings, and SMSTS with First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of site supervision experience.
• Ground-mounted Solar PV experience essential.
• Experience on large-scale solar/renewable projects.
• Strong subcontractor management experience.
• Good knowledge of HSQE and UK construction regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• SMSTS and First Aid are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and daily site activities.
• Oversee ground-mounted Solar PV installation works.
• Ensure HSQE and CDM requirements are met.
• Deliver toolbox talks and monitor site safety.
• Monitor workmanship and installation quality.
• Report progress, risks, delays and issues to the Project Manager.
• Support snagging, quality checks and project completion.
• Act as the main on-site contact for subcontractors and suppliers.
