Job summary

Sureserve Group is expanding and seeks experienced Solar PV Electricians to join our teams across Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire. With a strong pipeline of long-term renewable energy projects, this is a stable, local, permanent opportunity with excellent earning potential and clear career progression.

You will install, service and certify Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems, inspect wiring, diagnose faults, and maintain records. Applications welcome from individuals or established teams.

Qualifications

• Practical electrical installation experience, ideally within Solar PV and Battery Storage.
• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Valid ECS or CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service and maintain Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems.
• Inspect, test and certify electrical works, including fixed wiring circuits.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on-site.
• Carry out site-specific risk assessments and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance and certification.

The Role

• Installing, repairing, servicing and maintaining Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
• Inspecting, testing and certifying all electrical works, including fixed wiring circuits
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on-site
• Carrying out site-specific risk assessments and following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance and certification

What We're Looking For

• Practical electrical installation experience, ideally within Solar PV and Battery Storage
