Job summary

Sureserve in Inverness is seeking experienced Solar PV Electricians to join our expanding renewable energy team. This permanent role offers stability, local work, and the potential for career progression with a strong pipeline of long-term projects across the region.

You’ll install, service and fault-find Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems, conduct inspections, maintain records and follow safety procedures on-site. Opportunities for development and a competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Practical electrical installation experience, ideally within Solar PV and Battery Storage.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Installing, repairing, servicing and maintaining Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP systems
• Inspecting, testing and certifying all electrical works, including fixed wiring circuits
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on-site
• Carrying out site-specific risk assessments and following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance and certification

Job description

We're growing and looking for experienced Solar PV Electricians to join us across in Inverness with a strong pipeline of long-term renewable energy projects, this is an opportunity to secure stable, local, permanent employment with excellent earning potential and career progression.

The Role

• Installing, repairing, servicing and maintaining Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
• Inspecting, testing and certifying all electrical works, including fixed wiring circuits
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults on-site
• Carrying out site-specific risk assessments and following all health and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance and certification

What We're Looking For

• Practical electrical installation experience, ideally within Solar PV and Battery Storage
• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Valid ECS or CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation
